This is where I'm intending to record my editing decisions in terms of formatting and style choices. As such, these are opinions until they're posted into the Content Guidelines.

General Rules

  1. Images should not have clickable hyperlinks
    • Unless the image is a fullscreen-style image where the full resolution is necessary to see
    • (Yes, this is pretty subjective)
  2. All external hyperlinks shall open in "New Window" as opposed to "Current Window"
  3. GENERAL notations about old images are to be put in Information blocks
  4. Notes about specific images needing to be changed are to use the Warning blocks

Linking to Discord

In Discord, you can right-click (or long press on mobile) on any given message and you'll have the option to "Copy Message Link". The URL for this is structured as such:

You can use this structure to do a few different things:

  1. The full URL will link to the direct message in the channel
    • This is used when linking straight to an info dump or the start of a discussion

    • If you're linking to an info dump or discussion, consider paraphrasing or rewriting the information in the wiki and using the message link as a Reference.

  2. Removing the ending string of numbers will link to the latest messages in a given channel
    • This is generally useful when you want to link to something like "See #wiki-discussion to report any issues"
  3. Removing the Message and Channel blocks will link to the top-most channel in the server
